Well, I had all kinds of plans for the holidays, but due to circumstances beyond my control they did not come to fruition. To me, that's what it means to just trust God that people will know they are loved & cared for without all the hubbub & hype of the many "holiday traditions" we've created. It still hurts that I couldn't do all I wanted to, but that's probably just another one of my "issues"to work on. It seems like a lot of those have been coming to the surface lately, stuff I've pushed down deep is just waiting for the oddest moments to pop to the surface.
Not too much going on, Brodie is off to Cuyahoga Falls for a visit with Kelsey's family & maternal grandparents, then when he arrives home tomorrow afternoon, he'll be getting ready for work. I decided to use my 4 days vacation this year over the holidays since it's his last high school Christmas break. I'm hoping to work on catching up his scrapbooks, since those will need to be ready for graduation in June.
I sincerely hope that everyone has a wonderful, memory-making Christmas this year! It's also my wish that the new year brings everyone closer together & closer to Christ as we await His return. God bless us, everyone! Praying for you all, as always!

Hope you got busy on the scrap books - I got a free sewing machine and I'm starting a dress....
