Getting Ready For the Holidays...

Here it is early December already, & I'm just starting to get ready for the holidays. Wouldn't you know, the one year I put off getting started on gift shopping, and I have car troubles that pretty much wipe me out! I'm definitely in the holiday spirit, and looking forward to spending most of Brodie's last high school Christmas break with him, but now I can't do all that I planned to do. I'm using my 4 days of vacation time so that I'll only have to work the Monday before Christmas & the Friday after New Year's, and I'm hoping to be able to spend some time working on Brodie's scrapbooks to start getting ready for graduation in the spring.
For those of you that I haven't already shared this with, he has been accepted to BGSU for the fall, so now the main focus is keeping his grades as high as he can get them for the remainder of the year. He's working about 2 days a week at the moment. We're going to get started on financial aid after the first of the year and we'll have to see if he'll be better off staying at home or living on his own
